Wai Hung Ma

       Born: August 8, 1963 in Hong Kong, China Immigrated to Canada with family in 1974 and moved to Kamloops. Wai became a Canadian citizen 1985. Wai struggles to live with depression and anxiety and was first treated as a teenager. He has seen a number of counsellors over the last few decades and now he has taken the lessons he has learned and begun to help individuals with his motivational speeches and written works. He is now supported by the CMHA in Kamloops with the promotion of his books and other resources to raise awareness of depression and anxiety. Wai hopes that his speeches and his books will help people overcome the challenges they face living with mental health problems.
